The sweet summer months are perfect for construction with long, dry days and warm weather. Construction on the Palo Alto Elk’s Lodge is heating up.

According to Chris Lee, project manager, the second floor is almost ready for paint with drywall installation complete. Highlights of construction over the past few weeks include:

  • All of the doors and windows are in, and the building is watertight.
  • All of the heating and AC equipment has been installed on the roof.
  • The concrete and walkway installation has begun.
  • The sidewalk and gutter installation on Deodar Street has begun.
  • The swimming pool and spa tile was installed.

Things are going well, says Mr. Lee. We’ve poured concrete walkways and began work on the arbor for the BBQ area. Everything is coming together inside and out.
