A long-standing tradition of our Lodge - the Autumn Oktoberfest, patterned after the

big daddy of beer festivals held in Munich, Germany.  We are fortunate to have

several members who have brought down home recipes from Germany.  Together

with our house chef and our Events Planner (who is from the Czech Republic near

Munich), a wonderful and tasty feast was laid out for all our guests.  Imported

German beer was freely flowing!  Music was provided by members of the San

Mateo Elks Lodge Brass Band.  What a combination:  Great food, great music, great

beer, great company!
