Yes, you can host your party at the Elks! Pool parties are a wonderful way to have fun and show off the lodge to your friends. A pool party reservation grants you access to two reserved picnic tables on the pool deck. Guests may swim, enjoy the outdoor and indoor bar, and use the other outdoor areas. Remember that, as always, you are responsible for the behavior of your guests. Please ensure that they are courteous to other members, and your event strives to be as fun and non-intrusive as possible. Remember that, as always, NO WATER GUNS / SQUIRTERS and no eating in the pool or hot tub. Access: Please instruct your guests to enter through the back pool gate and check in, before proceeding to the picnic tables. Gates to the pool area may not be propped open under any circumstance. Times: Pool parties are 3 hours each. On weekdays, they may start at any time. On weekends, there are specific time slots, selectable through the booking process. Lifeguards: Lifeguards will not be on duty during the 2024 Swim Season. If you wish, you might bring in your own lifeguard (several of our swim instructors are licensed lifeguards -- please reach out to the House Committee for contact information or select one from the Lessons area on the mobile app). Regardless of whether you have hired a lifeguard, we encourage you to invite parents / caregivers to ensure that children will be properly supervised. Food: Outside food is allowed for pool parties. We do not permit outside catering companies to be on site for pool parties. Should you wish to hire an outside caterer, you will need to book through our Events Management Team. You may also purchase food, if it is available, through the bar/bistro. If you bring a cake, the kitchen can store it for you in the fridge or freezer. Alcohol: No outside alcohol is permitted. Members and guests may buy drinks at the bar. Size: Maximum of 30 non-Elk guests (adults or children). Cost: Guests pay $50 rental fee, plus a $10 guest fee per non-member (Elk members are free). The rental fee is included in the pricing below. Set-up and Cleanup: Please be sure to respect the area and clean up any mess and dispose of all trash in the exterior dumpsters before departure. A $100 cleaning charge will be incurred by the member in the event that the space is left without proper clean up.
