If you’ve never seen and heard a big jazz band prepare a show before, here’s a chance for you and your fellow Elks to “peek under the hood."  The Black Tie Jaz Band, led by Elk Kim Venaas, is continuing its season with their audience-favorite Big Band Jazz.  On Tuesday evening, April 23rd at 7PM they will hold their Dress Rehearsal, working through some of the best, most familiar and heart-warming songs and medleys right here in the Grand Ballroom. Since it is a working rehearsal there will be starts and stops but you’ll see and hear it all. Maestro Kim is renowned for his upbeat leadership and audience-pleasing presentations and Kim might even tell a few of the “Audience Mail” jokes that are submitted before each show.
