Monday - Sunday 6:00 AM - 11:00 AM Adult Lap Swim - Exclusive Use for Full Athletic Members Only

 

Monday - Sunday 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM Family Swim & Drop-In Lap Swim - All Members Welcome

Members without a Full Athletic Membership may purchase $10 day use passes

 

These Hours will run through Labor Day

 

 

Pool Rules

 

 

Palo Alto Elks Lodge Pool Rules Revised 6/15/21

 

                                                                                                             

 

All members must comply with social distancing and safety protocols set forth by California and Santa Clara County guidelines.

 

Members must show their current Elks membership card at the Pool Shack to gain entrance.   

(This is not your gate access card, it is your Elks Membership Card)

 

Members who paid full Athletic Fees will have a stamp on their card that says Family Athletic.

 

             Members who paid full Single Athletic Fees will have a stamp that says Single Athletic.

 

All other members and guests will be required to pay a $10 day use fee.

 

Day use members and guests are not granted access to the locker rooms. Locker rooms are reserved for full Athletic memberships only.  Day use passes for gym / racquetball / pool / locker room access are available through the front office for $20/day.

 

Outside guests are limited to 4 guests per membership. This rule will be strictly enforced.  Please do not embarrass yourself or your guests and make it awkward for the Lodge staff to turn away more than 4 guests.

 

There will be one access point only to enter the pool area; via the gate by the Pool Shack. All members and guests will be required to check in at the Pool Shack and pay applicable day use fees. Registered members and guests will be given a colored wristband that must be worn to use the pool or wading pool.

 

Appropriate swimming attire is required. Blue jeans or cut-offs are not allowed in the pool.

 

Children not fully toilet-trained must wear diapers. If the pool or Jacuzzi is being closed for sanitation reasons, no refunds will be issued. If a child causes a sanitation problem in the pool or wading pool, the responsible member for the child will be responsible for the cost of cleanup.

 

Children under the age of twelve (12) years must remain in the shallow part of the pool unless given permission by the lifeguard to enter deeper water.

 

Children under 18 years of age are required to have a parent / guardian member physically at the facility at all               

               times for use of the pool. 

 

Running, wrestling, pushing, dunking, rough housing or other inappropriate behavior is prohibited.

 

Pool toys, floaties, noodles etc., are not permitted in the pool.  Swim fins, swim masks, and kickboards for therapeutic exercise may be used at the discretion of the lifeguard or pool manager.

 

No glassware will be allowed anywhere within 40’ of the pool area.

 

No outside food or beverages are allowed anywhere at the Elks Lodge. All food and beverage items must be purchased from the Lodge during posted hours.  Only food or beverages purchased from the Lodge  may be consumed in designated areas.

 

The pool manager or lifeguard may refuse privileges to anyone who violates the pool rules.

   

The permanent BBQ grills are only for use of the Lodge staff and the Lodge officers for official Lodge sponsored BBQ’s.

 

Children under age of twelve (12) years must be supervised by a member, or an approved supervisor.

 

There will be no pool parties allowed during the 2021 - 2022 Elk fiscal year due to social distancing

protocols.

 

Wading Pool - Members are required to monitor their children at all times when using the Wading Pool. 

                Children under the age of (8) years old are not allowed in the wading pool. Children between the ages eight (8) and sixteen (16) years are allowed to use the wading pool, but only with immediate adult supervision.  No more than 6 persons are allowed in the wading pool at one time.  Temperature will remain at the main pool temperature.  This pool will not be used as a jacuzzi.

 

 

Hours of Operation:

 

6:00 am - 11:00 am  Lap Swim.  Exclusive use of the pool for Family Athletic Members and Single Athletic Members by reservation                                                         only.  No drop-in lap swim during these hours.

 

11:00 am - 8:00 pm Family Swim / Drop in Lap Swim. All members will be allowed to access the pool during these hours without a                                                       reservation. Two dedicated lap lanes will be available for lap swimmers during this time. Family                                                             swim / Open swim will have access to the rest of the pool during these hours.
