If you’ve never seen and heard a full symphony orchestra prepare a show before, here’s a chance for you and your fellow Elks to “peek under the hood.” 

The California Pops Orchestra, led by Elk Kim Venaas, is concluding their 32nd season with their audience-favorite Big Band Hits featuring the combined California Pops plus special guests, the Black Tie Jazz Big Band! 

On Tuesday evening May 6th the Pops will hold their Dress Rehearsal, working through some of the best, most familiar and exciting hits, ballads and medleys from Goodman, Dorsey, Ellington, Frank, Ella and more right here in the Grand Ballroom.

Since it is a working rehearsal there will be starts and stops but you’ll see and hear it all.
