If you’ve never seen and heard a full symphony orchestra prepare a show before, here’s a chance for you and your fellow Elks to “peek under the hood."  The California Pops Orchestra, led by Elk Kim Venaas, is rehearsing for their next performance.  They will hold their Dress Rehearsal, working through some of the best, most familiar and heart-warming songs and medleys right here in the Grand Ballroom. Since it is a working rehearsal there will be starts and stops but you’ll see and hear it all. Maestro Kim is renowned for his upbeat leadership and audience-pleasing presentations and Kim might even tell a few of the “Audience Mail” jokes that are submitted before each show.
