To celebrate community spirit the Cardboard Regatta is an annual event that brings together members of the community for a day filled with creativity, competition, and camaraderie. Participants are tasked with designing and constructing their own boats using only cardboard and tape, which adds a unique twist to traditional boating events. Put your ingenuity and resourcefulness to the test and encourage teamwork and collaboration among the community. All ages are welcome to compete.

The day's festivities will kick off at noon with the building phase, allowing teams to gather materials and finalize their boat designs. During this time, participants will have access to various resources, including tools and additional supplies, to assist in the construction of their vessels. Teams will be encouraged to think outside the box, as the most creative and well-constructed boats will have the best chance of success during the racing phase.
