The Hoop Shoot has been unleashing gritty kids for over 50 years. The Elks Hoop Shoot is a free throw program for youth ages 8-13. A fun opportunity for kids to showcase their free throw skills. Competitions will include three age groups for both boys and girls.

About the event
Youth 8-13 are invited to compete in the annual Palo Alto Elks Lodge Hoop Shoot. This is a great opportunity for kids of all ages to showcase their basketball skills and have fun. There are three age groups with boys and girls competing separately.
Contest Rules: Hoop Shoot - Compete - Playbook
Contestants must be at least 8 and no older than 13 as of April 1, 2026, in order to participate.
The contest will be held Saturday, December 20 at the Fletcher Middle School.
